Okay, so they finished the surgery and they say it is a wonder that my dad is still with us. Unless there is a drastic change in his heart function they say we have five years at best. Who are “they” anyway? Five years…well, I guess he outlived his dad by a bit, and he has lived a good life. I hope he just takes it easy for a change. I am not sure how to feel. Death and life: two sides of a tricky coin. You can live a whole life and still be dead, so I hope my dad lives the next years to their fullest.
