Today’s Readings

Psalm 143; Isaiah 35-38; Revelation 17, 18

I did have an excellent post, but my asshole of a computer locked up as it was posting. I lost it. Take that however you want to. See the smile.

Recant

Okay, I am not crazy. I am just overwhelmed. I think the money stealing will stop. I think the petty bullshit is over. I think I am looking forward to summer. I am so excited about working with Kecia, possibly getting into the Ph.D. program, finishing my research paper, and possibly moving on up in The Bux. It’ll be good stuff. Plus, I get to watch my little brother run the mini in Indy next weekend! 🙂 What could be more fun!

What is a Day?

I am feeling distant and lost today. I have nothing to say really except that I am so tired of all of this crap. People stealing money, petty bullshit, it can all just stop. Why do we do what we do to each other?

We’re Here

Well, several hours in a smelly adolescent filled coach bus, and two hours of sleep later, I have seen Gettysburg Battlefield, National Aquarium, and McHenry Fort. I have also eaten enough to feed a small country, and become familiar with every licensed Starbucks store on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Read: No Discount. Yes, without lube I purchased a $3.92 tall white mocha. It wasn’t even that stellar. I am now going to the probably bacteria and virus infested cess pot called a swimming pool, which will no doubt be filled with approximately 100 greasy teens. Maybe the chlorine will help alleviate the funk that has now consumed the bus.

Summer Time

For those of you who don’t know, I will be doing a summer assistantship with my favorite professor ever! Okay, she is one of two or three, but considering how long I have been in school, being one of ten would be an honor! All that to say, she is doing a really interesting seminar at the VBC about the role of Title 9 and gender in the realms of education, law and medicine. I get to help with that, and I couldn’t be happier.

Today I am reading Psalm 142, Isaiah 33 and 34, Revelation 15 and 16.
